History of the Ruger 10/22
In 1963, founder William B. Ruger began developing the 10/22 rifle initially for police officers and military personnel. The Ruger 10-22 was first introduced to the public in 1964 and quickly gained popularity. It became a reputable rifle on the market known for its accuracy, durability, and low cost.
