What is the Smith & Wesson M&P FPC?
The new Smith and Wesson M&P FPC is a side-folding 9MM carbine that has a compact folding design that makes it perfect for concealment, easy carry, and storage. With an integrated recoil buffer system, this side-folding FPC is chambered in 9mm with a 16.25-inch barrel and comes optics ready. It comes with one 17-round magazine and two 23-round magazines in the buttstock, with a quick-release latch that makes reloading convenient and quick for ultimate efficiency at the range. And the charging slide/handle doubles as a retainer when folded.
The M and P FPC also features M-LOK® slots on the handguard with Picatinny-style rail on top and a flat-faced trigger. Since this rifle comes optics-ready, you can put your favorite optic on straight out of the box. Even though this carbine folds, the horizontal folding mechanism does not mess with top-mounted optics, giving you plenty of customization options!
