About Beretta
Maestro Bartolomeo Beretta founded the Beretta company in 1526 when he delivered an order of 185 arquebus barrels to the Venetian Arsenal in northern Italy. Introduced in 1975, the original Beretta 92 has had a significant legacy since that time. With millions of models manufactured and the adoption of the Beretta M9 by the U.S. military in 1985, its popularity is unquestionable. Decades later, the 92 has experienced upgrades in manufacturing and engineering that continue to make it one of the most reliable pistols on the market.

For those that don’t know, the “Inox” part of the title refers to the inoxidizable finish of the gun’s stainless steel slide and barrel. The weight of the gun is reduced to provide easier handling with an anodized aluminum frame.

It has an open steel slide and a short recoil system to improve cycling speed and prevent stove piping.
