Welcome back to Summer Movie Mondays at GrabAGun! This final Movie Monday, we’re making it our mission to cover a few of the most notable firearms in an entire movie series. It’s a collection of movies that focus on skilled espionage, tense shootouts, and impossible stunts done by Ethan Hunt and his fellow IMF agents. Today, we’re looking at the firearms of the Mission Impossible Movies.
There have been a lot of firearms that have been on the screen during these action-packed movies. So while we could take the time to look at all of them, we’re going to try to take a look at a few models that we haven’t discussed in previous Movie Mondays. Thankfully, there are a lot to choose from. With 7 movies out and an 8th on the way, Tom Cruise’s character (Ethan Hunt), along with the other agents and villains throughout the films, have handled lots of firearms. With that, let’s take a look at a few of them:
The Sig Sauer P228 / M11
Though it’s no longer in production, the Sig Sauer P228 can be seen in the hands of Ethan Hunt and other IMF agents in the first Mission: Impossible movie in 1996. It was a versatility 9mm compact pistol that was used by US armed forces as the Sig Sauer M11. Though we don’t have the P228 available at GrabAGun, we do have the Sig Sauer P229 M11, which was an upgraded version of the Sig P228 introduced in the early 90s. It provides a similar look and feel while having the added benefit of handling higher-power rounds.

Sig Sauer P226
The 4th installment in the movie franchise, Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol, features several variations of the Sig Sauer P266. They’re wielded by Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise), Benji Dunn (Simon Pegg), William Brandt (Jeremy Renner), and Agent Carter (Paula Patton) throughout the film while they fight to prevent nuclear war. This Sig P226 Mk25 version features a larger, weighty build that helps reduce recoil and increase accuracy.
Though only, this IWI Jericho 941 pistol can be seen in the 6th movie in the franchise, Mission Impossible Fallout is a pretty cool pistol. During a brief scene in a darkly lit tunnel in London, Benji and several other agents can be seen holding IWI Jericho pistols as they talk through the situation. This particular model is a flat dark earth model chambered in 45 ACP and uses 13-round 45 ACP Glock magazines.

Welcome to another Summer Movie Monday blog from GrabAGun! On this Movie Monday, we’re looking at the firearms used by an Army Explosive Ordnance Disposal team from Bravo Company as they try to take out IEDs in the Iraq war. We’re going to be taking a look at the firearms of The Hurt Locker.
While there are a lot of military firearms seen in the movie, we’ll be focusing on civilian variants of these weapons that we have available at GrabAGun. A famous rifle known for its military use in the past several decades, there’s the Colt M4A1 carbine. In the movie, it can be seen in the hands of James (Jeremy Renner), Sanborn (Anthony Mackie), and Eldridge (Brian Geraghty) throughout the movie. For each of them, it’s the primary weapon they carry on deployment and serves to protect them while taking down insurgents. Its known durability in the field is part of the reason it’s served the military for so long.
While we don’t currently have the M4A1 carbine available, we do have the Colt M4 carbine for sale at GrabAGun.
